Description
The ruins of the summer palace of King Kamehameha III, constructed some time in the 1840s, as well as the Heaiu o Kaniakapūpū, or Kaniakapūpū Temple. The extent of the temple complex is not entirely known, and the entire site is overgrown and in ruins.

Notes:
Due to extensive vandalism, the DLNR has closed the site as of June 2016. No physical barriers prevent entry, but due to the cultural sensitivity of the site, visitors should strongly consider staying away.
