Lead guitarist/singer and Keys/singer comprising a recently formed Duo, both experienced performers currently prepping to play out, are looking for a creative percussionist aka drummer local to or near Montgomery County MD (so travel time minimized). Compact "travel" drum kit or just a nice percussion rack would work. Nice studio with gear is available for practices and recording. One player already plays infrequently with a nice quartet. This Duo (eventual Trio) plans to do local events, parties, wineries, venues where a full drum kit and lots of amplification just won't work. Planning to "travel light", provide quality "easy listening", but with a lot of "spunk", provide background music needs but also eventually be featured at more intimate settings where people actually listen and appreciate a little nuance and creativity.
