Why are our kids committing suicide?

It's obvious to me, that given the choice of pledging allegiance to a flag and a man-god or being ridiculed and targeted for social intolerance, many children end up wishing they were never born. If your only hope for success is participation in hyper competition and status seeking, where 1% or less are winners, suicide becomes the only recourse. Add determinate pride and accumulation of material wealth, and you end up with suicidal shooters, who's last hope for fame is the biggest body count. Thank God, I didn't have children. Better to be a loser in the eyes of my peers, than a heartbroken parent of a mass murderer!
