About the SpeakerArchbishop Gregory Kerr-Wilson is the Archbishop of the Diocese of Calgary and the Metropolitan of the Ecclesiastical Province of Rupert's Land. This means that Archbishop Greg is the Diocesan Bishop for Calgary and also the Archbishop overseeing ten dioceses within a regional area called Rupert's Land. That area covers from the Arctic in the North, and stretches across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and parts of Ontario from West to East. He was elected Bishop of Qu’Appelle in 2006, translated to the Diocese of Calgary in 2012, and elected Metropolitan of Rupert’s Land in 2015. Abp. Greg is married to Vicki and they have three adult children. His particular passions are for the renewal of the Church’s life and ministry through deepening discipleship so that it more fully embodies the presence of the risen Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit.
