19 Games, 2 Days, 1 Packed Weekend of Rollerderby!What is 9v9 Rollerderby?It's the same basic rule set as a full-rostered roller derby game with a few specific changes: Each game roster can only be 9 players max, as opposed to the full 15 playersNo gender requirements on the rosters whatsoeverGames are only 20 min long1 Team Timeout per team, No Official ReviewsEvent Schedule:**Team Announcements & Match Ups TBD** Saturday December 3rd:12 Round Robin Games2 pools of 4 teams (8 Teams total) to determine the seeded bracket on SundaySunday December 4th:7 Single Elimination Seeded Tournament.Which team will end up on top?Denver Roller Derby is hosting eight top level, open gender teams from all across the USA to compete in a 2 day tournament. Starting with a round robin, each teams will battle to be seeded in the single elimination tournament on Sunday - a total of 19 games throughout the weekend. Dress to Impress:Denver's "Derby to the Nine's" tournament encourages (not required) everyone to dress to impress. Full Formal wear - or a tuxedo t-shirt. Tis the season after-all! This PCR test must be taken within 72 hours of entering the building. AT HOME TESTS OR RAPID TESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. You are prepared to show your physical vaccine card, or negative PCR test or an image saved on your phone. Name on documentation must match the name on your picture ID.Currently, masks are not required of spectators, but are extremely encouraged. Denver Roller Derby reserves the right to change this policy at any time. If the mask policy is changed to "Required": masks must be properly worn over your nose and mouth at all times while inside the Rollerdome, unless actively eating or drinking.This event is cashless.If you feel sick or are showing any COVID-like symptoms on the day of the event, PLEASE STAY HOME. We'll gladly honor your ticket at a future event when you're feeling better.Thank you for helping keep our community safe.PARKINGParking is VERY limited -- if at all possible, please carpool or take advantage of RTD options. The Evans Street Station is a quick walk from the Rollerdome and serves RTD's D, E and H lines as well as the #21 bus route. Street parking is available in marked areas and throughout the neighborhood near the Rollerdome. Please be considerate of our neighbors and nearby businesses by making note of the area you are parked to ensure you are not blocking residential driveways or local businesses that are still open at the time of the event. REFUND POLICYGenerally tickets are non-refundable, however we will try to make accommodations for your situation if possible. Please contact [email protected] to request a refund. To ensure we're able to host as many people as possible, refunds will NOT be available within 24 hours of the start of the event.
