Griffin is a two year old, high energy, friendly yet protective, male neutered Queensland Blue Heeler/Border Collie Mix. Very high energy and would require an experienced Queensland Heeler owner with lots of patience. He craves attention and he loves to be brushed, patted, pet, scratched and cuddled! He needs a lot of physical exercise, and a fenced yard. He warms up to guests and new people with time, but typical of the breed, he loves his one person and people in his family circle. He is not vicious with cats, but he becomes obsessed and will chase and terrorize them. He is house broken, loves car rides, does well on a tie out, pulls on a leash and could use more consistent behavior training. He is very vocal; he does bark and talks a lot. We are located in St. Louis, Missouri. My son rescued Griffin only a few months ago and loves him, although he has struggled with finding sufficient time to meet his physical activity needs and does not have a yard. Furthermore, my son recently came down with cancer and needs to move in with family during the lengthy chemo process and my son and our family has decided it would be best to rehome Griffin with someone who has more Queensland experience, time, energy and space. $100 rehoming fee plus home check.
