Explore the trails of Great River at a slower pace with Wildlands' Stewardship Manager Owen Grey. Owen will guide you on a short loop through fields managed for both agriculture and wildlife, then to the viewing deck overlooking the Taunton River before walking the paved road back to the parking lot. What to Wear & Bring: Sturdy, closed-toed shoes Weather-appropriate clothing What to Expect: About one mile on flat terrain (both paved and unpaved) at a slower pace Learn about the preserve's management and ecology Restrictions: No pets Limit 20 hikers We are adhering to state guidelines for COVID-19. Please read rules carefully before buying your ticket: • Participants must be fully vaccinated in order to participate. • Participants must register in advance. • Participants must agree to the Wildlands Trust COVID-19 terms and conditions for outdoor programs, as provided during Eventbrite registration. • If a participant or someone in their household is ill, has symptoms associated with COVID-19, has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 7 days, or is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, they are asked not to attend. • If a participant becomes ill within 7 days following their participation in the class, they should contact Director of Special Projects Rachel Calderara Bruce at [email protected] • These programs are weather permitting.
