Linking Indy Women Presents: Visionary Women GUEST PANEL SPEAKERS: Melanie Allen, Starla Kay Mathis, Lateva Woolfork, Kate Elliott, and Laura Lachowecki Melanie Allen is the co-founder and CEO of Green Loop Marketing, a boutique digital marketing agency serving mid-sized businesses in the midwest. Now in its sixth year, Green Loop works with Devour Indy, the Arts Council of Indianapolis, the Parks Alliance, Mental Health of America Indiana, and many more. In addition, Melanie serves on the Board for Creative Mornings/Indianapolis and PATTERN. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband, two sons, and rescue dog, and attended her first Linking Indy Women event ten years ago! Starla Kay Mathis is the founder and CEO of create. connect. collab. She is a wife, mom of two, creative entrepreneur, Co-Owner of Mathis Media, podcast host, model, and speaker. Starla is a community-driven leader, a creator of safe spaces, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Chi Chi Omega Chapter she believes in creating a life you love and living it. Lateva Woolfork is the co-founder and COO of create. connect. collab. She is a wife, mom of 6 girls. She is a Multi-Passionate entrepreneur, Founder of Socially Coordinated (SoCo PR), speaker, a lover of ministry, and helping people become purposely powerful through enriching their personal brands. Laura Lachowecki is a nationally and internationally recognized pastry chef. She competed in numerous pastry competitions and won the national ACF Pastry Chef of the Year award in 2015 and took 2nd in Rimini, Italy in the Pastry Queen Competition as the USA representative. She is the previous Executive Pastry Chef of Notre Dame University (Notre Dame, Indiana), Woodstock Club (Indianapolis, IN) and Gallery Pastry Shop (Indianapolis, IN). Upon the birth of her daughter, Laura decided to leave the restaurant life in 2020. During quarantine, she spent her extra time baking and hand-painting macarons for friends. A post on Instagram resulted in numerous inquiries for macarons which resulted in the official launch of Filigree Bakery. Her most popular item are creme brulee macarons. Kate Elliott is Owner + Designer at Koti Designs. She's a Michigan native who has been living in Noblesville, Indiana for the last 10 years with her husband, three kids, their Mini Australian Shepherd and cat. She has always had a passion for interior design and art. Starting with a career in professional photography (and with a detour into customer success and sales in the tech world) she has settled into interior design and home staging allowing her to work with two of her favorite things - furniture and textiles!
