Taking the stage will be your Host Johnny Herrera, Featuring Act will be Daniel Eachus, and your Headliner Roberto Rodriguez will be closing out the show . Daniel Eachus is a rising young star in the comedy world. Even at such a young age, Eachus has the chops of a comedy veteran and people are taking notice. Born and raised in Fresno, CA, he was surrounded by farms, but didn’t want to smell raisins for the rest of his life, so he turned to comedy to get him out. For college, Daniel’s wish came true and he left Fresno to study in Long Beach. By day, he was a student, by night he performed on the stand-up comedy circuit. After just one year of nightly performances, he became the youngest finalist ever in the “Funniest Comic in Los Angeles” contest held at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club. He’s been entertaining audiences ever since. Eachus has been performing stand-up and improv throughout the nation’s clubs and recently was featured on Comedy Central’s “Up Next” and Sirius XM’s Comedy Central Radio. A finalist or winner in scores of comedy competitions including the World Series of Comedy, Up Next Regionals, Sacramento Comedy Festival (1st place winner), OC Improv Cup and more, he’s considering expanding his trophy shelf. But doing stand-up and improv is not enough for Daniel. When he’s not onstage making people laugh, he’s making people laugh at their screens. Daniel acts, writes, and produces the comedy sketch series, “Bigfoot Chasers”. He is a co-writer on a brand new Kevin Hart-Produced Series. He’s starred in 17 National Television Commercials, was featured on SpikeTV, and made his stand-up television debut on Fox and Hulu’s “Laughs”. Roberto Rodriguez is the next fresh face of comedy. With his explosive energy he is able to make every live performance memorable. For the past 10 years one thing defines every performance, Energy! Roberto draws on his life's experiences, family, and general life observations. Growing up Roberto bit an extension cord and as a result was left with a significant scar. To defend against ridicule he developed a quick wit and gift of making people laugh. It wasn’t till he went to a comedy show with a comedy school flyer, that Roberto started his career with the Tempe Comedy College in Tempe, Az. From there he continued studying comedy and helped grow the local comedy scene. The school gave him an opportunity to venture out and open other rooms giving more opportunities to hone the skills as one of Phoenix’s top comics. He also became a regular at The Comedy Spot and opener at the Tempe Improv which gave him a great spring board. As the comedy scene grew, Roberto was tapped as a rising star in mainstream comedy. With numerous shows including Latin Comedy Explosion and the Latin Princess’ of Comedy, Roberto has garnered critical acclaim for his detailed characters, voices, and ability to engage the crowd and bring them into his head. After 6 long years Roberto auditioned for and was chosen for the 2007 Latino Laugh Festival. Riding on the success and exposure of the Festival, he moved to Los Angeles to take his career to the next level. He has been showcased at the Laugh Factory, Regular at the Hollywood Improv, Richard Villa’s Refried Fridays, and is an opener/showcased at the Ice House as well as touring the country .
