Shamrock's Finest Landscapes LLC has been serving Pueblo County & surrounding areas since 2011 & is looking to hire for multiple Lawn, Landscape, & Irrigation positions. - We are a full service landscaping contractor and strive to make each customer feel special. We are looking for individuals that have strong work ethics, are team oriented, & take pride in doing the job right the first time. We are looking for employees who will be committed, trustworthy and timely when working for our company. This is a great opportunity for committed and hardworking individuals. We have work year-round. - We are looking to hire for the following positions including part time, full time, & overtime during the working hours of M-F 6:00 AM- 5:00 PM Pay is weekly and pay period is Wednesday through Tuesday paid every Friday. General Lawn & Landscape Laborers Starting out @ $16/hr (No Experience required) Part time - Full time - Temp 4-10 HRS / DAY - For these labor positions you will only need a strong desire to work hard and learn this trade. - This position pays between $16 an hour to $18 hr depending on your work experience and particularly lawn care, landscape, & irrigation experience. - You do not have to have any experience at all to apply for a laborer position. - You only need to have dedication to being to work on time and working hard. We can teach you the rest. - This person should have a positive attitude, communication skills, good work ethic, be punctual, reliable, & have transportation to work. - Self motivated General Lawn & Landscape Laborers Starting out @ $17/hr (Some Experience REQUIRED) - Prior Landscape / Lawn / Irrigation Part time - Full time 8-10 HRS / DAY - For these positions you will need a strong desire to work hard and learn this trade further. - This position pays between $17hr to $20 hr depending on your work experience and particularly lawn care, landscape and irrigation installation experience. - You must have some knowledge & prior experience & we can teach you the rest. -Must be dedicated to being to work on time and working hard. - Self motivated - This person should have a positive attitude, communication skills, good work ethic, be punctual, reliable, & have transportation to work. - Willing & capable of overseeing & keeping a safe working environment for all employees Landscapers & Irrigation Techs Starting out @ $18+/hr (Experience REQUIRED) - Prior Lawn / Landscape / Irrigation Part time - Full time 8-10 HRS / DAY - For these positions you will need a strong desire to work hard and learn this trade further. -This position pays between $19 hr to $22 hr depending on your work experience and particularly lawn care, landscape and irrigation installation experience. - We are looking for dedicated individuals with a fairly good grasp of residential landscape and irrigation installation / repair with experience. - This person should have a positive attitude, communication skills, good work ethic, be punctual, reliable, & have transportation to work. - Good driving record/license is a plus. - Must be dedicated to being to work on time and working hard. - Self motivated - Willing & capable of overseeing & keeping a safe working environment for all employees Landscape / Irrigation Foreman Starting out @ $20+/hr (DL & Experience REQUIRED) - Ability to operate different machinery Must have at least 2 years of Bobcat Skid Loader Experience REQUIRED Part time - Full time 8-10 HRS / DAY - For these positions you will need a strong desire to work hard and learn this trade further. - Must be able to drive a truck pulling a trailer - Clean Colorado driver's license is required. - For these positions we are looking for dedicated foreman with a good grasp of commercial and residential landscape and irrigation installation experience. -You will need a strong desire to work hard and learn this trade further. - This position pays between $20 hr to $25 hr depending on your work experience and particularly lawn care, landscape, & irrigation installation experience. - Possession of "out of the box thinking" and confidence to make field decisions that improve the project while keeping the project as designed - Ability to direct crew members and ensure production standards are being met - Ability to manage multiple jobs at once without direct supervision. - Competent with some phone & computer skills- Excel, Outlook, Word, and others. - Efficient and timely communication with directors & supervisors. - This person should have a positive attitude, very good work ethic, communication skills, be punctual, reliable, & have transportation to work. - Must be dedicated to being to work on time and working hard. - Self motivated - Some knowledge in small engine & equipment service - Willing & capable of overseeing & keeping a safe working environment for all employees Landscape Supervisor Starting out @ $22+/hr (DL & Experience required) - Ability to operate different machinery Must have at least 5 years of Bobcat Skid Loader experience. REQUIRED Part time - Full time 8-10 HRS / DAY - For these positions you will need a strong desire to work hard and learn this trade further. - Must be able to drive a truck pulling a trailer. - Clean Colorado driver's license is required. - This position pays between $22 hr to $28 hr depending on your work experience and particularly lawn care, landscape, & irrigation installation experience. - We are looking for dedicated Supervisor with knowledge & understanding of commercial and residential landscape and irrigation installation / repair with experience. - Possession of "out of the box thinking" and confidence to make field decisions that improve the project while keeping the project as designed - Ability to direct crew members and ensure production standards are being met - Ability to manage multiple jobs at once without direct supervision. - Firm understanding of contract obligations and understanding RFI or change order opportunities. - Ability to communicate with inspectors, owner representatives, subcontractors, and third-party vendors - Competent phone & computer skills- Excel, Outlook, Word, and others. - Efficient and timely communication with clients, vendors, sub-contractors, and colleagues, directors - Landscape industry or related certified designation or similar training is highly desirable. - Knowledgeable in small engine & equipment maintenance / service - Over see & assist with all aspects of landscape, irrigation, lawn care installation repairs & maintenance. - This person should have a positive attitude, very good work ethic, be punctual, reliable, & have transportation to work. - Must be dedicated to being to work on time and working hard. - Self motivated - Willing & capable of overseeing & keeping a safe working environment for all employees - All candidates must also pass a background check and be hardworking, honest and possess a high degree of integrity. - No drugs / alcohol - Must be at least 18 years of age. JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO FOR ALL POSITIONS • Digging holes and trenches • Hauling topsoil and mulch • Laying rock • Pushing wheelbarrows • Planting trees, shrubs and flowers • Grading manually and mechanically • Installing irrigation systems/trenching • Using manual hand tools such as shovels etc. for extended periods of time • Raking • Mowing • Trimming • Pulling weeds Work Environment/Physical Requirements • Work 10+ hours per day with applicable breaks with some overtime/weekend work required during busier parts of season, or if weather requires. Work weeks will vary depending on weather. • Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time • Ability to lift, pull, push,, and carry 80+ lbs. (concrete, mulch, rock, etc.) - Ability to bend, kneel, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day. - Ability to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time. -Climbing stairs and ladders; tolerate heights up to 20ft. -Strong mental attributes to handle a stressful working environment - Hand eye coordination and endurance. -The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
