Description

A fundraiser for REACH of Haywood, the inaugural "Jingle Jam" will feature a full day of live music and fellowship at the brand new event space at Frog Level Brewing in Waynesville. Presented by Adamas Entertainment, the event will take place from noon to midnight Saturday, Dec. 3. The event will feature an array of acclaimed regional acts, including Abby Bryant & The Echoes (indie/soul), The Get Right Band (rock/jam), Pink Beds (indie/rock), The Jackson Grimm Band (Americana/folk), Arnold Hill (rock), Appalachian Renegades (Americana), and Andrew Scotchie & David Earl (indie/folk). • REACH of Haywood: A local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides aid to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse. REACH offers advocacy, emergency shelter, community outreach, and prevention education to empower individuals to live a self-sufficient life free of violence. (reachofhaywood.org) • Abby Bryant & The Echoes: A music minister’s daughter turned fierce front woman, Abby Bryant has cemented her presence as a standout in Americana and soul with her band’s debut album, "Not Your Little Girl." The 13-track LP features Bryant’s raw vocal talent supported by the confident and dynamic backing group The Echoes and establishes a strong foundation for the band in the world of vintage-inspired Americana and soul rock. • The Get Right Band : A psychedelic indie rock power trio from Asheville. They're a band focused on following their muses to honest self-expression, to whatever excites them and pushes them into unexplored territory. The Get Right Band proudly carries the torch for a long line of genre-bending power trios from Cream to The Jimi Hendrix Experience to The Police to Violent Femmes to Primus to Green Day to Nirvana to Sublime. It’s the space between the notes, the rawness and the maneuverability, that makes a power trio, well, so damn powerful. • Pink Beds: A cerebral indie pop band formed in 2020 at the cusp of the initial lockdowns. Composed of four friends from Asheville, they’ve cultivated a strong bond through a shared passion for lush soundscapes, artfully crafted tunes, and rhythms you can’t help but be moved by. The mélange of dream pop, new wave, lounge, and disco aims to create an ethereal listening experience with a combination of low-end groove, velvety guitar, silky keys, gritty synth, and catchy melodies. • The Jackson Grimm Band: Grimm marries folk pop melodies with the lonesome sound of traditional Appalachian music. In a region with a strong music culture, it is no surprise that Grimm's songwriting is representative of his musical birthplace: Asheville. His songs run the gambit from an homage to a traditional country waltz in "If Not For You," an unrequited love song driven by a Beatles-esque melody in "I'd Hold You (But I Don't Wanna Hold You)," to a drunken party-grass song à la Old Crow Medicine Show in "Last Train Home." • Arnold Hill: An alternative rock band based out of the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina. Identified by their lyrical storytelling, rich three-part harmonies, and dynamic instrumentation, Arnold Hill brings presence and energy to every stage they play.
