The date is set, Janurary 28, 2023 will be the Lakeville Lions 3rd Annual Community Day of Service Event. With your volunteer help, the Lions will be doing projects to benefit 3 separate charities and one special project for seniors the morning of January 28 from 9 am to Noon. Each project will benefit programs in need of support that service the Lakeville and surrounding areas. We need your volunteer help to prepare these projects for donation. Here is your chance to sign up and participate in a service project for your community. Lakeville Lions Community Day - Service Projects 1. Make No-Sew Fleece Blankets for "Sleep in Heavenly Peace" (SHP) Organization. Blankets will accompany bed deliveries by SHP to area kids in need of a bed. TheLink provides meals and many other essential services and items for youth who are at-risk or are currently experiencing homelessness. Click Here for TheLink info 3. Make Dog Snuffle mats for local dog adoption agencies. 4. Create Valentines Day Cards for local Senior Citizens.
