Have you been to networking events that make you feel like you have to be an ultra extrovert just to meet other business owners? Do you find it difficult to tell others about your business and pass out your business card? Come network with other business owners in a way that is effective and fun! This is our first ever speed networking event! Open to all businesses in Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben counties. We provide a venue where you can meet EVERYONE in the room, introduce yourself and your business, and learn about your fellow networker's business in return. How it works: Participants are divided into two groups.A timer is set. Depending on the number of participants it can range from 5 to 10 minutes.Each group gets half the time to talk about their business.One group sits on one side of the table and does not change seats.The other group sits opposite and shifts down a seat when the time is up.The group that moves gets to go first and introduces their business until their time is up.The group that stays in their seats goes second and introduces their business until their time is up.Exchange business cardsThe group that moves shifts down a seat and the timer starts again.Business owners can follow up with each other after the event.
