This meet up is broken down into two segments. Session 1 is our Notary Bootcamp running from 11 am-1pm. In this session you will learn the basics to becoming a notary public in the State of Michigan and how to position yourself as a professional notary pubic and notary signing agent. Topics to include: How to become a notary pubic; what does it take to be a successful notary public; how to find and keep business; and what can I do with my Notary Public Commission among other topics. Session 2 will begin at 2pm and will be a general session for Notary Publics across the State of Michigan. Topics to include: How to gain more direct business, effective pitches, and how to organize the notary community for better business conditions through legislative action. Be sure to bring your notary questions as we look to be a resource. About our Speaker Elrico Hurley is the Loan Signing System Ambassador for the State of Michigan. Through this role, Elrico works with over 2,000 notaries across the state of MI to provide educational content, best practices and general notary knowledge to the LSS Mihcigan network. A Notary Public for over 5-1/2 years Elrico has become a national trainer for notary public issues and also serves as a National Ambassador for the National Notary Association. He is also the owner of ELH Document Services, a national notary public signing service. When he is not working, you will find Elrico serving his community and his church, and loving on his family. Elrico believes that community is key to effecting and affecting change. Because of this, Elrico dedicates his personal life to the advocacy of the under-served and under-represented populations of his community, training youth leaders to provide innovation at home and abroad, and lobbying legislative bodies to better his family, hish community and the small business community.
