Description

Closing the gaps in care for mothers struggling with substance use disorder is often a difficult task to undertake. This conference educates legal attorneys/ advisors and social service individuals on the difficulties working on these cases and how to break down barriers that might prevent access to vital care. CLE's and CEU's will be provided to working Attorneys and Social Service individuals. Topics include: The Brain, Substance Use Disorders and Parenting, Opioid Use Disorder, Pregnancy and Supporting Recovering Families with Infants, Recovery is Possible, Opioid Education/ Understanding, and Stigmatizing Ideology. Conference fee of $30.00 to attend. This includes educational credits and lunch.
