Description
Hello everyone, my husband and I have come to our last resort on trying to rehome our wonderful 1 year old dog Emily. We are expecting a baby in less than 2 months and my husbands health has been declining so between those two, we don’t have the time she needs to grow and learn and we want her to be with a loving family who will give her love and treats and take care of her. She’s house broken, crate trained, knows her basic commands and then some. She’s good around other dogs and cats. She’s very high energy and her recall does need some work but we’ve been trying to work with her but we haven’t had the time. I recommend she go to a home with children 7+ only because she’s never been around babies/infants/toddlers. She is unsure of how to calm herself down when it comes to people and other dogs and that’s when she loses her recall. She is a very exceptional dog and she learns easily. She’s very loving and affectionate and loves pets. She loves being outside and running and playing with rope toys, balls, bones, etc. I wish we didn’t have to do this but for her sake and health and wellness and for ours, it’s what’s best in the long run. We are asking a small rehoming fee to make sure she goes somewhere loving and she’s well taken care of. We would also love updates as to how she is and would love to also still be in contact to see her.
