Needed: a fiddle player who sings or a singer who plays the fiddle. You're right! It's the same thing, or needs to be. Needed, the above person to hear and add vocal harmonies or lead lines, AND melodic, catchy fiddle lines to Original Americana music (and creatively arranged versions of the right covers). Needed, someone able to create from lyric / chord sheets. Needed, someone who thrives on stage and is mindful of presenting / performing music. Needed, someone who can rehearse once a week in person, AND someone who will woodshed at home to get ready for rehearsal. (Recording experience would be a great plus, but not absolutely necessary if you're the right person.) This will be a DUO to begin; adding rhythm section etc. at the right time. GOAL: Write and record memorable, sometimes humorous, socially engaged music with a subtle but underlying message for those who have ears to hear. Never preachy, but always thoughtful, always fun, always positive and hopeful. Always looking for the groove. Always energetic. GOAL: Street fests gigs, festivals, songwriter showcases, audio / video postings. I am a songwriter who welcomes your ideas and your material. I play guitar, moderate mandolin, bass and can cover most bases in the studio. You would be seen as my partner in this. Lots of songs ready to go. Lots of songs and video ready for your listening ear. I am "too old to be shy, too young to fade away." Serious, experienced players best suited.
