FAKE: A Tribute to CAKE is Dallas’ only CAKE tribute band. We’re looking for the perfect lead guitarist to lay down the majority of the band’s iconic guitar sounds. A real love for the band’s music is a must, no casual fans please. You must be familiar with their musical catalog. You must own/play similar gear used on stage by the band, or be willing to procure said gear... You must be able to commit to bi-monthly rehearsals, own professional gear, and be available to perform in front of large crowds without reservation. We have a rehearsal space that has 24/7 access and our goal is to faithfully recreate and bring to life the music of CAKE throughout their 20+ year musical history. We have connections to some of the largest DFW venues to be able to start performing live as soon as the band is assembled, rehearsed and ready to go...
