On November 14, 2022 at the Village of Hoffman Estates there was a request by Sansone Group for a courtesy review of a multi family development located at 1001 N. Barrington Road (this location is on the east side of Barrington Rd. between Bode Rd & Golf Rd).
Concerns were expressed at committee meeting regarding addition traffic congestion & the possibility of an traffic signal needed to be installed because of the additional congestion that the 375 unit will bring plus a possible outlot for retail business.
An idea was put forth for the Village to purchase the property & make it open space (green space, trees, shrubs, other vegetation & walking paths for people to enjoy.
You can view the proposed site plan & info regarding request by Sansone Group on Hoffman Estates.org Planning & Zoning Commission. And you can also find out when there will be a Public Notice regarding this request.
I hope you will have an interest in keeping this land open & be able to attend future meetings to voice opposition to stop this
development.
