i am looking for an investor to open up a cafe in the east village. i have a bunch of my friends who would work, and a great location in mind. because of the location there is plenty of room outside to set up outdoor seating, and on weekends the street is closed completely. the locale is a bar which closed. there would be coffee, wine and other refreshments served all through the day into the evening. one breakfast choice a day and maybe 2 days of the week dinner would be served. there would only need to be one server, and only later on in the evening, as people will get their drinks at the bar and then sit down on their own for most of the day. the place is made up inside and much of what is already in there could be kept. there is also a massive basement. the east village is overrun with shitty places filled with tasteless people. this would be a good place, a diamond in the rough for the people who live in the neighborhood and love it here.
