The Nutrition Technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, family members, physicians, and nursing for a variety of meal service necessities by following Food and Nutrition Service Standards to enhance patients’ nutritional care. This includes menu and meal explanations, basic diet instructions, modifications, and alternate food preferences. Ability to multi-task via multiple avenues such as (not all inclusive) phone, computer, and mobile platforms. Refers patients with special needs to registered dietitian. Hours 3- 12 hour shifts 6am-6:30pm or 3p-11:30pm with rotating weekends.
