Eric Swalwell mocked the notion of parents making major decisions in the education of their children. The Liberal Democrat from California said that parents making decisions about their children's education is like: "putting patients in charge of their own surgeries? Clients in charge of their own trials?" Swalwell went on to say: "Please tell me what I’m missing here … This is so stupid." Swalwell, you're a lawyer, so you should know this: What you're missing is, something called "Informed consent". Parents are RESPONSIBLE for their children's lives. We need to know WTF is going on at all times with our kids. No exceptions. Schools and teachers are NOT supposed to be teaching anything or doing anything with our kids that we don't know about.... PERIOD. Of course, I have to remember I'm talking about a guy who had an affair with a Chinese SPY, while he's on our 'National intelligence committee'. Fucking moron.
