*Pittsburgh Holiday Market Sales Representative Needed 12/1/22 (more potential work available throughout November 17-Dec 23) *Event Name: Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership Holiday Market *Event Location: Market Square, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 *Event Dates/Times: Thursday 12/1/22 11a-8p *More work available throughout the market if interested! *Please list available dates to work in response email* Copper Coast Confections is looking to hire a representative to assist our staff with the sales and chalet operations at the Pittsburgh Holiday Market event! Copper Coast Confections is a gourmet fudge and hand-crafted artisan chocolate company with a modern twist! We bring gourmet fudge, Belgian chocolates including hand-painted artisan truffles, pecan caramel turtles, and almond toffee in a cozy chalet full of holiday cheer! We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic team-oriented individuals in Pittsburgh, PA to represent our brand. New hires will assist with sampling and product sales, active customer service roles and additional duties of a successful chalet. We look for representatives that can engage with customers while capturing chocolate sales and promoting our brand. *Job Requirements: . Excellent sales service to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction . Personable and outgoing with good mix of people skills . Open availability for the duration of the event hours . Follows all recommended health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for product handling (trained on-site) . Maintain in-stock and presentable appearance of display in assigned areas . Basic math skills and ability to make change on cash transactions . Physically able to stand for duration of the shift . Prior retail sales or brand ambassador experience (Service industry professionals, wait staff, and bartenders have been great additions to our team in the past) . “Go the extra mile” to drive sales . Cross sell products and actively engage with potential customers . Maintains a positive and collected demeanor during periods of high volume/activity *Compensation: Cash pay daily is $15 per hour plus tips. Any successful hire will be given first choice at working with our team at any upcoming Pittsburgh area events. . We will extend an offer of 25% off of any items sold at our booth! *Dress Code: Business casual with a clean and presentable appearance. Please wear comfortable closed-toed shoes. DRESS WARM as it will be colder temps. There will be a heater inside the chalet provided but be prepared! *Parking: Company will reimburse for parking costs-please remember to get a receipt. *Timeliness: Please allow yourself plenty of time to park and get settled in on the first day of the event. Be at the booth ready to work at the time listed. *Breaks: You will get a 30 minute UNPAID lunch break but you provide your own meals. The time of your break will be assigned each day by onsite Lead and will be determined by the amount of traffic during the event.
