Weekday Caregiver For 19 Year Old With Physical Disability Our son is super sweet, fun and social. He's also quadriplegic, needs help with all activities of daily living. He's working towards a high school diploma. We are looking for an upbeat, patient and kind person. Must be able to lift 80-85 pounds for transfers (very briefly). Although it can be helpful to have experience, it is more important to be open, curious, and ready to learn. We are fine with training the right person. The people who have been the best match are detailed oriented, friendly, and have a good sense of humor. We also have a small friendly and fluffy dog. You would be paid through two agencies (work on the books, be fingerprinted, etc.). Would involve cleaning, doing laundry, walking dog etc when he is at school, and being with him after school. Must be vaccinated. Hours 12-7, benefits may be available. Rate dependent on experience/hours, between 20-25 hours, paid days off. We are hoping to find someone who can commit to at least a year.
