P/T- Raw Materials Processing Machine Operator

We are looking for someone who can help us process/cut a variety of materials. We operate a materials supply business for woodworking, metalworking, knife making, and other hobbies. Typically we receive large sheets/bars/rods of material(wood, metals, carbon fiber, phenolics etc) which we cut down into smaller pieces for resale. It is required that you have experience operating some common shop tools such as bandsaws, wet tile/bridge saw, table saws etc but you don't need experience with all of it. Equipment includes a 7x12 metal cutting bandsaw, 14" bandsaw, 10" table saw, several hand shears, 38" wet bridge tile saw, belt sanders etc. This position is needed approx 15-25 hours per week and would work 3-5 days per week during normal business hours although there is flexibility on the exact days/hours. Being able to work Monday mornings would be the most important. We are looking for someone who is: -Safety conscious -Precise and detail oriented and takes pride in doing a good job -Reliable- will show up when you say you will and finish the job -Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. -Experienced working with shop equipment. **You will need to be able to pass a background check and drug test.** If you don't know where Granbury is then this position is not for you so please do not contact me.
