**This is a 2-week temporary 1099 Position** Responsible for the staging & erection of structural steel components for project Located in Fort Scott, KS. - 1-2 Years' experience required - References required. - Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings / read specifications. - Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedules. - Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions. - Familiarity with hand & power tools. - Prepare material prior to assembly - Hoisting and guiding components into place using cranes or telehandlers (Forklifts) - Working from mobile elevated work platforms and operating them (Boom & Scissor Lifts) - Rig hoist and move material - Install vinyl backed building insulation, metal cladding, screw down and standing seam roofs - Install insulated metal panels, windows, passage doors and roll-up doors - Layout for and placement of anchor bolts also desired - Cleaning and preparing a job site housekeeping activities when requested keep a clean, safe and organized work area. in waste disposal and recycling activities. - Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner. - Safety - Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance - Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks
