Immediate Opening for: DSPs - Assisting individuals with their daily living, safety, advocacy, and well-being. DSP pay rate is $13.00 an hour NMT Drivers – Assisting individuals with transportation to and from work, day program, etc. NMT pay rate is $15 an hour Responsibilities • Assist clients with ADLs (Adult daily living skills) • Take clients to their doctor appointments • Create daily schedules for their clients according to their ISP’s • Log all day-to-day activities • Help clients maintain their homes by cleaning and doing laundry • Prepare meals for the client • Help the client gain more independence • Community activities • Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties • Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment • Collaborate with clients and families for the best care opportunities Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalent (not currently required) • Social Security Card • Valid driver's license • First Aid CPR certified – (will send for training) • Complete 8-hour training • Positive attitude and ability to talk to anyone • Compassionate and caring demeanor • Ability to build rapport with clients • Ability to handle stressful situations well • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to pass a background check • Ability to pass a drug test
