Learn how to tackle your pond management with UF/IFAS Suwannee County Extension! This workshop is targeted toward pond owners managing for fishing, aesthetics, or recreational uses. This workshop will cover topics such as aquatic weed management (live plant identification) and desirable pond species selection. Bring your pond weeds and we will identify them! Additionally, specialist Dr. Cichra from the University of Florida will be presenting information on general fish management (species selection, stocking, harvest, feeding, fish kills) and water quality (dissolved oxygen, aeration, liming).
The registration fee is $20.00 (includes promotional and educational materials). There is an additional late fee of $10.00 after February 3rd, 5:00 pm. There will be no refunds for the registration fee. This workshop is limited to 25 participants. Class begins at 8:00 am.
