Description

Truth or Dare Live is a standup comedy game show where comedians reveal the truth and the audience picks the dares! Host Emma Jonas presents six hilarious comedians who provide a secret truth before the show. Throughout the show, each comic does a set and then has to guess whose truth is pulled from a hat -- guess right, and the comic whose truth it is does a dare. Guess wrong, and that performer is stuck with the dare. Rinse and repeat! It's always a wild and unpredictable show! With GUESTS: Dan Weber: A darkly optimistic and dry comic making everyone laugh from the bottom of the well. Mandy Simonson: A mom, a breast cancer survivor and all things in between. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Mandy has performed in the PNW, Barcelona and NYC. Kayla Evans: Kayla Evans is a recent transplant to Portland, OR from Nashville, TN. She’s enjoyed making jokes since 2016 about being a woman, dating, figuring out her mental health, and all of her traveling adventures. This year she performed in the Sixth City Comedy Festival and Asheville Comedy Festival. Lee H. Tillman: Lee H. Tillman started his comedy career in Los Angeles, CA performing around Southern California. He is now based in Portland, OR where he performs all over the Pacific Northwest. He has performed at comedy festivals all over the United States including the Burbank Comedy Festival at Flappers where he was awarded “Best of Fest”, the Omaha Comedy Festival, and the Motor City Comedy Festival. While he has a low-key delivery, please do not mistake his laid-back delivery for complacency. There are surprises at every turn. Dan Hurtwitz: Dan Hurwitz is a disabled, Black, and Jewish writer, comedian, and filmmaker. In 2018, he co-founded The Disabled List, an ever-growing group of disabled comedians from the Pacific Northwest. Dan was a semi-finalist in both the Laughs Comedy Competition (2019) and the Stand-Up NBC comedy competition (2019). During the Covid-19 pandemic, Dan co-wrote, co-directed, and co-starred in “This Is Spinal Injury” (2021), a mockumentary about the trials of disabled artists during quarantine, which premiered at Northwest Film Forum’s Local Sightings Film Festival in September, 2021. Noah Watson: Noah Watson is a Portland area comedian, voted as one of 2022's Willamette Week's Funniest Five. He hosts the Midnight Mic and stand up variety show Dark Web Tonight at Funhouse Lounge, and the long format video talk show Midnighter's Survival Show.
