3:00PM - LECTURE | 4:00PM RECEPTIONDean Kenneth B. Chance, DDS, Endowed Distinguished Lectureship Dean Kenneth B. Chance, President of the Supreme Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and his family established this series in honor of the 130th Anniversary of the School of Dental Medicine. The lectureship, "Excellence: the pathway to Leadership" will feature Dr. Jon B. Suzuki, a distinguished leader who will present on a topic and perspective not only in the field of dental medicine, but one that is over-arching in scope and relevance. The lecture will be relatable to students and professionals in cross-disciplinary fields to promote necessary dialogue and meaningful interactions, contributing to the better understanding of complex issues that confront our society. Excellence: the pathway to Leadership - Jon B. Suzuki, DDS, PhD, MBA Dr. Jon Suzuki holds Clinical Professorships at the University of Maryland, the University of Washington and Nova Southeastern University. He is also on the faculty of the US Navy Walter Reed National Medical Center. Dr. Suzuki is the current Chairman of the Food and Drug Administration Dental Products Advisory Panel and the current Secretary/Treasurer of the Supreme Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and has served in this position for three decades.
