Here is the 5th installment of this seasons "McCaffrey & Rooney Present" at Seven Stars Arts Center! Colin and Jim welcome back Chris Brashear. Chris plays fiddle, mandolin and guitar and he is a singer/songwriter with a wide vocal range and a clear, distinctive voice. Chris, Colin & Jim graced the Seven Stars stage together in November of 2021. We look forward to hearing them again! Doors open at 6:30. Masks are welcome but not required. Children under 12 – free admittance. Chris Brashear played with Robin & Linda Williams, who were regulars for many years on Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion. Chris now performs with long-time musical partner John McLaughlin and The Piedmont Melody Makers Colin McCaffrey, Vermont producer and award- winning songwriter has become a regional “one-stop-shop” for high quality audio production, as well as heading up long time Vermont favorite band The Stone Cold Roosters and winning various song competitions including the prestigious Chris Austin Songwriting Contest. Grammy winning producer Jim Rooney is best known for his work with Nanci Griffith, John Prine, Iris DeMent, and Hal Ketchum, to name a few. For over 50 years Jim partnered with the legendary banjo player Bill Keith, recording several landmark recordings together.
