This is our last 2022 event at The Sterling Tavern. So grab some friends and family an plan to attend this slate painting event. We will be painting on a 100+ year old 10x18" roofing slate, Artist and teacher Kathy Smith, will demonstrate how to paint the design. ALL of the slates will have the design drawn on the slates, so painting can start at precisely at 6:30. This will allow for more painting time. A leather cord will be supplied so the finished slate is ready to hang. This family event is open to all. No talent needed just a desire to have some creative fun. Make a night of it and plan to dine at the Sterling Tavern. They have an extensive menu and YUMMY specials. FYI: A black Medium Line Point Craft Smart paint pen purchased at Michael's ($3.99 for 2) or any craft store is highly suggested for the lettering. One pen can serve by 5 painters. Once you try them you will LOVE the them.
