Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Generate programs for the Selective Wave Soldering Machine (Lead and Lead free)
•Run pcbs through the Selective Wave Soldering Machine
•Optimize programs to prevent the need for touch up
•Maintain consumable items (flux, solder, LN2)
•Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment
•Provide technical support to machine operators
QUALIFICATIONS
•3-5 years of experience programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting Selective Wave Soldering equipment.
•High School Diploma/GED required and Technical degree/certificate preferred
•Understanding of IPC-A-610, Class 3 workmanship standards.
•Cerno 103IL Selective Soldering Module experience is a plus
•Must be able to read and understand Bill of Materials, Assembly drawings.
•Very well versed with MS Office and AS400
•Work and communicate well with Production Operators, Engineers, Designers and Management.
