Description
We are experiencing profound disconnection in almost every aspect of our lives.
Increasing numbers are unmotivated to work at all, let alone to excel. Church attendance is declining with record numbers experiencing anxiety or disinterest related to connecting with others. Social isolation for persons of all ages is becoming the norm rather than the exception.
Research shows that over 50% of U.S. adults are experiencing loneliness, and that loneliness is making people mentally and physically sick. Loneliness at work is costing employers $406 Billion annually in lost productivity. We believe loneliness is a root cause of the "quiet quitting" trend in our culture.
How is "quiet quitting" hurting your community, and what can you do to stop it?
Theresa Veach, PhD., assistant professor at IWU's School of Service and Leadership and leader of the Life Coaching program, will be our luncheon speaker. Her presentation will highlight the pillars of coaching, and cast a vision for how leaders can use coaching tools to help people to re-connect, and re-engage in both life and work.
Pastors, managers & business owners are invited
This seminar is geared specifically for leaders and managers. We want to give you tools you can use right away and cast vision for how you could begin to build a stronger coaching culture inside your company, church or organization.
We hope to see you at the event. And feel free to invite a friend.
