ABOUT THIS EVENT: Insert Music Here returns to the Eaton Canyon Nature Center for our last concert of the year! We are thrilled to have rising star violinist Geneva Lewis join us for this program of stunning violin and piano duo music. Lauded for "remarkable mastery of her instrument" (CVNC) and hailed as "clearly one to watch" (Musical America), Lewis will be performing alongside Insert Music Here pianist Katelyn Vahala. Performing works by Mozart, Brahms and more, Geneva and Katelyn are very excited to bring this amazing music to the Eaton Canyon Nature Center for an afternoon of reflection and meditation. DETAILS: When: Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, 2 pm Where: Eaton Canyon Nature Center (pond picnic area) - look for signs in the parking lot area pointing the way! What to Bring: Bundle up and bring your own lawn chairs to settle in for the afternoon. Picnic table seating is also available. You are welcome to bring snacks and beverages - we please ask that you follow park regulations regarding no alcoholic beverages and to pick up all of your trash as required by the Eaton Canyon Nature Center. Help us keep this beautiful location free of trash! What to Expect: This is not your typical Classical music concert! We love this music and feel strongly that it should be available to anyone and experienced not only in the concert hall. Expect to see the musicians dressed casually, sharing a bit about the music and announcing what you will be hearing as we go along. The performance will be a little over an hour long, with a short intermission. Take this opportunity to relax with some stunning music and reconnect with nature in this tranquil location.
