City of Roanoke- Hometown Holiday Gingerbread House Competition

This year, we have changed the competition, and have some great updates. All participating teams are asked to provide their own gingerbread house supplies. All supplies must be made from edible materials. Non-food materials will not be accepted. The City of Roanoke will provide tables and tablecloths.The City of Roanoke will provide voting mechanisms. Houses may be any size.All ages may compete. Houses will need to be delivered to the City of Roanoke Recreation Center, located at 501 Roanoke Rd., between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM on Monday, November 28th. Houses will remain on display at the Recreation Center for the entirety of the week, and will be judged by the public. The winner will be chosen on December 3rd, and notified by Monday, December 7th. The winning prize is a gift certificate for $300 to Great Wolf Lodge!By submitting this application to participate, you are agreeing to the following terms: I agree to assume all risks of loss and injury which may arise out of participation. I hereby release and agree to indemnify the City of Roanoke, Texas, and their respective agents, officers, and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, related to any loss or damage to my person or property whether anticipated or unanticipated. This release shall be binding on me, my heirs, successors, assigns, administrators and/or executors.
