The Right to Read film shares the stories of an NAACP activist, a teacher, and two American families who fight to provide our youngest generation with the most foundational indicator of life-long success: the ability to read. The film shares how we can work together to solve this crisis. Join co-hosts Anne Brewster and Jessica Handy and a small group of local community leaders for an exclusive preview of key moments from the film. After the preview, cities from across Illinois will join together for a live zoom panel discussion with National and Local literacy leaders.
