Join us for the first annual Linden Lodge Dog Jog - part of the insanely popular Sandhills Dog Fair - that benefits Linden Lodge Foundation. You'll start at Tufts Memorial Park to pick up your swag bag filled with goodies from our sponsors. Then you'll wind your way through a fun (but too long) walk through the Village, with stops along the way for photos, treats, and lots of pets from our friendly volunteers along the way. The best part is that the course ends at the Arboretum where the insanely popular Sandhills Dog Fair is set up! You'll be some of the first attendees into the fair. FAQ: Q: My dog is old and can't move too fast. Can we still participate? A: Yes! This isn't a race, you can do it at your own pace. Q: How long is the course? A: The course is 1.5 miles. It is not an out-and-back course. You'll start at Tufts Memorial Park and end at The Arboretum. Q: Where should I park? A: We suggest parking in the municipal sand lot near Tufts Memorial Park. Because the course will wind through many side streets, the walk back from the Arboretum to Tufts Memorial Park will be much shorter. Q: What does mental health have to do with dogs? A: Studies show that dogs reduce stress, anxiety and depression; ease loneliness; encourage exercise and improve your overall health. We'd say that's a pretty good reason to participate in the Dog Jog!
