Come out this Friday (Nov 18th), Saturday (Nov 19th), and Sunday (Nov 20th) for some mouth-watering BBQ and to support an awesome cause in our community! Hope House Ministries serves the homeless and home-challenged here in Lakeland through breakfasts, lunches, and dinners throughout the week! Lunches are provided for those in need M/W/F, and Wednesday nights (6:30-8:30pm) and Saturday mornings (9:00am-1:00pm) Hope House volunteers provide those in need with hot showers, shave, and change into clean clothes while provided them with meals in community, sending them out with toiletries and meals to-go! Hope House also works with attendees to learn their needs and help them through the processes of applying and interviewing for jobs, finding affordable housing, and getting medical insurance and care. We are here to put love into action in our community -- and we could use your help! We can always use volunteers as well. Feel free to join us at Lake Gibson UMC on Wednesdays and Saturdays to help serve and love on our neighbors.
