PAID Event Production Asst - December 1st

General assistance pre-, during and post-event required for an evening reception in Miami Beach. You will be working with 2 other PAs, one of whom has worked many events with us and will be the lead PA throughout. Responsibilities / tasks to include: General load-in and set up including banner installation, flag banner installation, moving boxes and items, and general assistance. We will have golf carts and dollies available for use to help load-in all items. During event: general assistance, plus driving a golf cart to /from guest pick-up at parking lot. Post-event: tear down, remove all banners, pack and load-out all production elements to the box truck. You will be required to do lifting and moving of items (boxes of liquor, for example). If you are not able to do this, please do not reply. You must be: Well-presented - no visible tattoos, grills, or piercings (except small earrings. No large 'holes' / rounds in your ears). Responsible and able to drive a golf cart. You will be driving on boat docks, so not that wide an area. Valid and clean driving license required. ******Please be friendly, with an outgoing nature and bring a can-do attitude****** You must be on-site on Thursday 1st December not later than 3pm. Event runs from 8pm - 12am. Set-up from 3pm - 7.30pm Tear-down from 12.15am until we are done. Send details of previous event experience. Send headshot EMBEDDED IN YOUR EMAIL. NO attachments. What to wear: Pre- and post-event: jeans / shorts / t-shirt / work clothes are fine. Non-ripped, plain. Suggest hat / cap as you will be working outside and it will be hot. During event: you must bring a change of clothes. Smart black slacks - not jeans - and a black or white collared buttoned down shirt. Clean, soft-soled shoes (clean sneakers OK). Please eat before you arrive and bring food. Water will be available throughout. We will pay for your parking. The entire area will be very busy; please allow extra time to for heavy traffic.
