9 month old kitten for rehoming

I have a 9 month old brown stripped tabby I need to rehome. I got him in April as a suggested support animal. Suddenly I have been told I need bypass surgery. Afterwards I will be going to rehab then assisted living. I have no one to care for him. He is a very living, snuggly, room stalker and talker. He also likes children. Will someone please help. There is a $5 rehoming fee. He has been spayed, has his shots.
