We’re kids at heart (30's and 40's) with adult lives looking for 2nd guitar to make some music, feedback and noise with. Drummer, bassist and guitar/vocal need another guitar, and if we're making a Christmas list, a harmony vocal. We're all transplants and get along great. We're focusing on some original songs, maybe a cover or two. We plan to record something great then break up after we argue about creative differences (we prefer to just plan ahead....) We’re into Fuzzy / distorted guitars, big chords, a few good riffs, some feedback, soft / loud type stuff, some melody and trying to (ahem) stay in pitch:) Bands that inspire us: Radiohead, The Posies, Superdrag, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Misfits, BRMC, Quicksand, Foo Fighters, Failure, Samiam, QOTSA. I have some recorded "sketches" of song ideas to share if you want to get an idea of what we're working on. It might be your cup of tea or might not. Ask, and I'll send some over. We have a local place in Clarksville that we book to practice, and we'll even help you unload your stuff. Damn that sciatica... Dust off your doc martens and join us. Some things worth mentioning: * No, I can't loan you a guitar * No Shredders, Ibanez guitars with gauge 9 strings, or metal zone pedals. * We're not trying to become famous * Please have your own catalog of ideas, riffs or songs to show your style (however minimal, incomplete, or unpolished - we get it) * Experience working with a DAW would be great * Experience playing with other people would be great * We know Craigslist is full of flakes and nuts - if you're one of these, please don't waste our time
