YOU brought up the fact you were MEAN. I RESPONDED TO YOUR COMMENT. I even thanked you for being mature enough to do such. What a concept! I repaid bad with good! Where have I heard this before? What is sad though, you could not even say 'thank you'. How often do you see 'opposing sides' complimenting the other? RARELY. And I can not even get COMMON COURTESY from you. Shame be upon you! You have an issue with this, take it up with the dictionary. Where did I use the word 'mysterious'? You are TWISTING what I stated. I said we do not know God's mind, and to true believers, this is correct. All we need to know about God, is in his "Owner's Manual', i.e., the Bible. I need to know NO MORE. Nor do I question anything beyond this, for it is NOT IMPORTANT. If it is important, it is in the Bible, in GOD'S EYES, NOT OURS! Again, the 'tail does not wag the dog'. YOU: "...Now you are moving on to Proverbs and the wonders of CD’s..." - WRONG I pointed out that the Good Book also states that man knows VERY LITTLE, and whatever man thinks, is WRONG and leads to death. And I used the "how to's" of a CD disc and child as a comparison between man and God. To ME, that person was making an 'off the cuff' remark, such as when you hear people say 'Thank god that did/did not happen", as an example. For if it was REAL, their reply would have been like mine. Then again, a TRUE CHRISTIAN would have NOT MADE THE POST TO BEING WITH! Also, I was CALLING OUT this person for bringing God into this to begin with! ACTUALLY, you and I are IN AGREEMENT on this! ;) We BOTH think it was wrong! As far as you stating I did not 'address' your comments about what you said, this is incorrect. I accept the Bible as the Word of God. I also know that MAN DOES NOT KNOW EVERYTHING. There was a time when man thought we were the center of the universe, or we would never need more than 640k of RAM, or that man could never fly...and so on. Because we do not know it NOW, does NOT make it wrong. You showed your intellect by stating you know things that you do not know. You can not 'see air', yet you KNOW it is there. I stated that I made the decision to BELIEVE the Bible is true. You choose NOT TO. So? What is SO WRONG IN THAT? Why can you not be NICE and accept that others DO NOT THINK AS YOU DO??? This type of behavior is termed SELFISH. It is also ARGUMENTATIVE too! NO WHERE in ANY of my posts concerning this have I been: rude, selfish, demeaning, belittling, hateful, or ANY commonly accepted negative behavior. You, can not say the same. It causes you NO HARM if I choose to believe or not. Why are you so afraid? I am NOT afraid that you do not believe nor do I take issue with it either. Yet, it 'bothers' you that I do. The Good Book speaks on this too... And since it appears you do not have a mastery of the English vocabulary, I shall provide you with some FACTS so that you can better yourself. ZERO. Christians are COMMANDED TO STAND TALL, yet, you see how many REAL Christians there actually are. You turn on the TV or go see a movie, you also see it there too. Christians are COMMANDED to be the 'salt and light of the world'. You see how many there are here! ;) Matthew 5:13-16 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. When was the last time you heard a Christian (besides me) thank God for Obama or Biden while they were thanking God for Trump? I suspect NEVER. I know I have never seen such! These people, as with the OP, are all FAKE. Yet, you seen ME do this though! We BOTH agreed on the OP's post, just for different reasons. And because I like blue and you like green, does NOT make either of us right OR wrong. Now, if I OR YOU, were to RIDICULE others or FORCE said views upon others, THIS IS WRONG. I did neither of these to you. I also did not resort to 'sarcasm' either. Is your argument so weak that you must resort to such 'tactics' or are you 'so eaten up with hatred within your heart' that you know no other way? My friend, even if you do not believe in God/Jesus, there is a LOT YOU CAN LEARN from the Word of God. Is it so horrible to be good and kind to others? To put others first? No, it is not. Yet you OPPOSE such. And you have DEMONSTRATED such by your sarcasm too. 'Actions speak louder than words'. Think about the above. I have no ill-will towards you, we just do not agree. So what? The sun still will rise and set if we agree or not. I made the choice to be kind to you. You made the choice to be mean to me. You, as I, HAD A CHOICE. We see what choices we each made. If you choose to deny God, that is upon you and come judgement day (to me), it shall be you to pay the price, not I. And if I am wrong? So what! I lived a life trying to be good and kind to others. Is that really so wrong or bad? Really? Ponder upon these things and perhaps you can learn some truths from such.
