The Capitol Lab Band jazz big band is looking for a pianist. We rehearse Sundays 5-7p at Alexandria City High School (3330 King St, Alexandria, VA 22302, easy parking) in the band room. There is a keyboard there. In addition we gig approximately every three months in downtown DC, usually on a Sunday evening, which we get paid for (split 17 ways!).
You must be a proficient jazz reader and improviser.
