Sow Food Farms GNV was founded by Gainesville entrepreneur José Rosado. The mission at Sow Food GNV is to produce specialized food products for local restaurants and our community farm store using best practices in small scale farming. The event is an opportunity for you to enjoy a one of a kind brunch experience made with seasonal locally sourced ingredients . The brunch will be prepared by Chef JJ the owner and operator of Tropical Eats in Gainesville Florida. Brunch Tickets include : -all specialty non-alcoholic & craft alcoholic beverages - informative farm and forest trail tour with farm founder, José Rosado -live music by local musician -a three to five course brunch and hors d'oeuvres curated by local guest chef -a one-of-a-kind, outdoor brunch experience Meet the Chef Hello my name is Joshua Joseph. Head chef and owner of Chef JJ Creations, a private chef and catering company located in Gainesville, FL. I grew up in South Florida and graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a degree in Culinary Arts. At a young age, my mother inspired me to cook delicious food from her home country of Haiti. Every week we prepared new Haitian dishes, which would have me asking questions and leave me wanting to do and learn more! By middle school, I knew food was my passion and never looked back. ​ I believe that through food, we can do amazing and powerful things! That’s why I wanted to be a chef and started Chef JJ Creations. My mission is to create jobs in our community, feed people delicious meals that put smiles on their faces, and to provide our customers with unforgettable service and hospitality.
