Information on lighting controls, security access, HVAC controls, fire protection, utility metering, and much more is available to owners – but it remains largely untapped. That means that owners are missing out on opportunities for to integrate, share, and act on their data. In this presentation, Brian and Mattie are going to discuss trends in controls technology, with a focus on Division 25, the specification for integrated automation. Key topics include defining Division 25, the three levels of automation, the difference between OT and IT, and finally, what you need for a successful Division 25 project. The presentation will include real-life Division 25 examples and a discussion of the application of Division 25 in different markets.
