Scandinavian Lucia Celebration Hosted By: The American Scandinavian Association and Drott Lodge No. 168 Vasa Order of America Join Us on Saturday, December 10th, 2022 - 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church6701 Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 We will celebrate the festival of lights honoring St. Lucia which is an important cultural event on December 13 in Norway, Sweden and Swedish speaking Finland. The candle crowned Lucia wears a long white gown with a beautiful red sash as she leads a train of girls all in white singing Sankta Lucia as she begins a beloved Christmas concert. Enjoy Lucia Fika (refreshments) while listening to Scandinavian Christmas music. Tickets: $5/Child 3-12 and $10/Adult.
