Healthy communication is critical for all of us but especially relevant for youth workers interacting with young people, as well as with parents, school staff, and colleagues. This workshop will start with an exploration of communication styles and how those shape our interactions with others. We will then move to skill-building in active listening and an approach to effective communication, especially for challenging conversations. This workshop is highly interactive and will include many chances to practice skills and tools. Please note - this workshop is offered in person.
