On Thursday, November 24, 2022 (Thanksgiving Day) Iona's Kitchen will be hosting their 4th Annual Community Meal. Iona's Kitchen in collaboration with Orchard Covenant Church, Just love Ministries and Seeds of a Father will unite once again to serve those who are in need. Chef Kelly Dobbins, the owner of Iona's Kitchen reported a goal of preparing 2500 meals to ensure that others have food to eat in various locations throughout the city. We are looking for volunteers to help us pack meals in to-go containers during the first and second shifts as well as volunteers to serve community members who are dining in at Orchard Covenant Church. There are 2 opportunities to serve: 1st: IONA'S KITCHEN 7AM- 12NOON VOLUNTEER @ IONA'S KITCHEN 439 MAIN ST INDIAN ORCHARD MA 01151 2nd: IONA'S KITCHEN 12 NOON - 3PM VOLUNTEER @ ORCHARD COVENANT CHURCH 95 BERKSHIRE ST INDIAN ORCHARD, MA 01151 To ensure safety: All participants /volunteers are required to wear a mask at both locations All are welcomed to join us at Orchard Covenant Church at 12 noon for a delicious free meal. Meals in to-go containers will also be available for those who are not dining in. Simply provide the number of people in your family and receive that amount of meals as supplies last.
