Description

Assemble parts, pieces and/or products using a variety of tools and/or equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures in an area of production in a manufacturing environment. Ensure that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. 1st Shift: 5:00 am- 3:30 pm 4-day work week with overtime if required. $16.00+ per hour depending on experience. Positions will mainly entail, but not be limited to the following tasks: • Perform assembly and material movement functions • Perform inventory control and cycle counts • Receive instructions from the production supervisor and from operations on the production plan • Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairing units or products that have failed to meet requirements • Work involves physical demands typically found in a manufacturing environment, such as but not limited to prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and/or moving materials Qualifications: • Assembly: 1 year (Preferred) • Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred) • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted • Must have knowledge of hand tools • Must have knowledge of crane operation or forklift experience
